Conversion Rate
Conversion rate is a marketing metric that measures the percentage of visitors or prospects who complete a desired action, such as filling out a form, making a purchase, or subscribing to a newsletter.
It is calculated by dividing the number of conversions by the total number of visitors and multiplying by 100 to get a percentage. For example, if 100 visitors land on a page and 10 complete the desired action, the conversion rate would be 10%. In lead generation, a high conversion rate indicates that a website, landing page, or marketing campaign is effectively turning visitors into leads or customers, signaling a successful strategy.
