Cold Lead

A cold lead is a prospect that has had little to no interaction with a business and has not yet expressed interest in its products or services. Cold leads are typically gathered through outbound marketing tactics like cold calling, email outreach, or purchased lead lists. Since these leads are unfamiliar with the business, they require more effort to warm up and convert into paying customers. 

Cold leads may not be ready to buy immediately and often need more nurturing to build trust and interest. While they have a lower initial engagement rate, cold leads can still be valuable when approached with the right strategy.
